Part 04.
However this may be, I must say I appreciated the aesthetics of this particular memorabilia, so much so I figured I would be wearing it for Cedric's party invite. Han would accompany me, so it may be a thing of interest or a particular talking point for the host and some other invitees.
I must say though, I don't like being at the centre of things now, but I would be hard put out to persuade Han to wear it instead. Your guess is as good as mine, but I guess Han would laugh, if she were to hear any suggestions about either of us dressing in a chain of a lion's teeth for Cedric's dinner party. But being the dutiful daughter she is, she would most likely not dissuade me, if I were to make any such suggestions to her.
On the contrary she would be very fast put out to suggest matching colours of suits and clothes to go with the chain. That is if she can get past the initial disclosure of my doubts. She would only be too glad to help.
Cedric, as was his custom liked to give out the occasional dinner invites, not necessarily to those within his immediate circle of friends but to all and sundry whom it seems fit the mould of the wealthy and the interesting: the emphasis being on the word ''wealthy.''
Cedric stank. However when I say this I mean of choice wine. Like his pedigree proves he would rather a bottle of wine than a glass of water. He professes that it's good for the blood vessels and the pate or so he says all the time. And I fear it would be the dearth of him, for a friendship with a person more or less a wine connoisseur could turn out for someone, one friend too many to keep.
Like I said I have borrowed a leaf off Hannah: yoga and fresh water for me every day. Off-course I always took the occasional glass of wine with him. Who could refuse such generous offers from one so knowledgeable in the art of wine drinking? And an art indeed it is.
