The Crux of Professor Beecroft's Papers

Part 01.

Eire........Circa 2025

I do suspect the good professor did not intentionally leave out his signature. I mean it only took a second glance to notice what was left out. The papers were not that many or cumbersome in text. It was a simple five page document meaning to convey the bare basics of his contract with Ernest Consults; a law firm in charge of the ongoing relationship between my firm and the good professor. I am a seventy two year old man; seventeen years older than Professor Beecroft but I am not a Professor. I am just a man who has made a lot of money selling other people's ideas to angel investors. I am an angel investor myself, I mean I started out as one myself when I suddenly came into a lot of money in my mid thirties. I barely get involved in the day to day execution of duties in my firm now. I leave that to my daughter; Hannah. I trust her, she is just like her mother: very feisty and confident. But she has a very good head.

I guess this is why she ignored the lack of signature on these documents: she must have thought that I should read the small print first before ''we'' make up her mind about what it is exactly we should expect from the good professor.

Han, as I like to call her, only leaves room for other people's opinions when it seems, she has run out of her own ideas. She is like the proverbial man of ideas or life-ideas hacker; someone who always seemed to come up with ideas ranging from the scientific to the abstract; the ideal candidate for the ideal angel investor. This is like someone not too far from the scientist of the present times or someone with enough pedigree as that of a PhD student or a technician with years and years of experience. This is not to abuse your mind as against other persons of artistic inclinations. They all fall into this category.
